This is a straightforward day cooler. It is not something you take for a week of camping in 80 degree weather. It keeps ice for about 3 days in 75 degree weather as long as you place it in the shade. This is lightweight and works exactly as I expected it would for single day parties. I just wanted something to keep drinks cold for the day. I have a Rotomolded cooler for those week long trips where keeping things cold with minimal ice is important. The only issue I had with this is that there is no drain plug on it so you have to tip it in order to drain the water from it. Set your expectations at the right level and this will be a great cooler, just understand it is not going to compete with a $250 cooler.
It’s bigger than I expected! Even with half the space filled with ice, I could fit over 8 cans of beer. There’s nothing better than enjoying a cold beer by the campfire!
I love the cup holder! I use it as a small side table next to my chair, and it’s super convenient to open the box and grab a cold drink. The space is huge—I was able to fit over 10 bottles of beer, even with the ice. The color is really nice, and honestly, that’s what sold me on it. Overall, I’m really happy with it. I bring it on every camping trip now!
Great price and strong construction. Definitely a solid purchase.

My son got this cooler/ice chest for everything—from beach trips to up-the-coast getaways and even work sites. I haven’t seen anything he puts in there that doesn’t stay cold by the end of the day. And guess what? Last Friday, both our A/C and fridge decided to stop working. And yes, we’re in Florida, where temps were in the upper 80s during the day and 70s at night. With 4 adults (including me, the disabled grandma) and 4 kids, we definitely needed a fridge, but we had to wait until after the weekend for repairs. So, we piled everything from the fridge into this cooler. We shoved in frozen chicken, ground beef (in waterproof bags), frozen veggies, and 4-6 water bottles. We lined the bottom with ice packs, added a bag of ice, and then tossed in whatever didn’t fit in the freezer. I drank a lot of water, so I was opening and closing the cooler all day. After two days, the ice had melted a bit, but it was still cold inside, so I didn’t add more ice right away. By day 3, the ice had completely melted, but it was still so cold inside that the food felt frozen, and the melted ice stayed icy. I had to use a spatula to clear the drain! By the time the repairman arrived, the chicken was just starting to thaw but still crunchy. I credit the cooler’s performance to the frozen food we put in and the tight lid. It's now part of my emergency kit, right alongside candles, batteries, and camp stoves. I recommend this cooler to everyone—it’s totally worth it. I just wish it had retractable wheels for easier movement! (Purchased on 2024-08-15)
