Before you head out camping, I highly recommend setting up this tent at home first. Trust me, it’s a good idea to make sure all the parts are in the bag and that you can set it up easily. It saves you time and stress when you’re out in the wild.
Setting up the tent was pretty easy. It took me about 15 minutes the first time to get the tent up, and another 6 minutes for the rainfly. It was windy that day, but I managed to put the tent up by myself, though the rainfly is definitely a two-person job.
The door zipper is two-way but isn’t super smooth. It tends to get caught on the rainfly’s edging. A little dish soap helped, but you still need to keep an eye on it to prevent snags.
The tent advertises “snag-free continuous pole sleeves,” but they do catch on the silver pole sockets. It’s not a big deal, just something to be aware of.
One last thing: the description says the tent is “square,” but the dimensions are 9x10 feet. Not square at all, so that’s a little misleading.
Overall, despite a few minor issues and misleading descriptions, the tent seems like a solid option. I’ll update my review next month after I’ve camped in it for a while.
Thanks so much for the detailed feedback! We appreciate your tips about setting up the tent ahead of time—it’s great advice for anyone getting ready for a trip. We’ll take your comments on the zipper and pole sleeve into consideration for future improvements. We're glad to hear you're satisfied with the overall quality of the tent, and we look forward to hearing how it performs during your camping trip! Enjoy your adventures!
I’m really impressed with this tent for the price. The poles feel stronger than some other tents I’ve used. I took it on a two-week camping trip, and we faced some pretty gusty winds—up to 40 mph—but everything stayed solid. I did tie down the rainfly with trees and extra ropes for added stability.
The zippers are strong and glide easily, which was a pleasant surprise. Setup was quick and straightforward. On the first night, we had about an inch of rain. There was a little dampness inside, but honestly, it was barely noticeable. The only issue I ran into was with the entryway pole. The wind shook the tent so much that the pole kept coming loose, forcing us to close the window during the rain. Not a huge deal, but something to note.
The tent is huge! Four of us stayed in it for nine nights, and we had plenty of room. Overall, this is a great tent for the price, especially if you’re dealing with tough weather conditions. It’s comfortable, spacious, and durable.
Thanks for the great feedback! We're happy to hear the tent performed well in such challenging conditions. We appreciate the tip about securing the rainfly with tie-downs for extra stability. We'll definitely look into ways to improve the entryway pole to avoid any issues in heavy winds. Thanks again for your recommendation!
We used this tent for the first time last night, and it was perfect for just the two of us. It has plenty of space, and we could have fit a few more people if needed. We ended up getting caught in a heavy rainstorm, but the tent held up great! No leaks at all, which was really impressive.
This was a great investment, especially since I got it on sale. I’m really impressed with how easy it was to set up, how well it ventilated, and its overall durability. Everything about it is top-notch, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad the tent kept you dry during the rainstorm and that it was easy to set up. Your satisfaction means a lot to us, and we hope you continue enjoying your adventures!
We went camping with the family, and I got this tent for my daughter. It fit her, her husband, and their grandson comfortably. One night, we had a huge downpour, and the tent didn’t leak at all! My daughter had some issues with the zipper, but it wasn’t anything major. After seeing how well the tent held up in the rain, the zipper problem seemed pretty small in comparison.
The size was perfect for our group, and I was really impressed with how affordable it was. The setup took about 20 minutes with two people, which was super reasonable. Overall, it’s great in terms of size, waterproofing, ventilation, and ease of setup. I’d definitely recommend it!
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so glad to hear the tent kept you dry during the downpour and worked well for your family. We’ll be sure to look into any potential improvements with the zippers to make the experience even better. Thanks again for the recommendation!
I love this tent! It takes me about 15 minutes to set it up by myself, and I can almost stand up straight inside, which is a nice touch.
The carrying bag is nice because it can be expanded by ripping off a cloth panel at the bottom. I can fit everything, including the ground cloth, back in the bag, but I do need to pack it all carefully. I recommend getting some velcro straps to keep the tent rolled up nice and tight so it fits back into the bag more easily. My only complaint is that the poles stay attached to the tent, which makes it a little harder to fold up.
