LIghtweight and easy to assemble

I grabbed this tent on Black Friday and I’m really glad I did. After setting it up, I prefer it to the tent it’s based on. The freestanding pole system gives it a solid, spacious feel without all the guy lines to trip over. Setup is quick and easy for one person. While it’s a little cramped for two people, it’s not a knock against the design—if you want more space, go for a 2+ or 3-person tent. It's not as ultralight as other brands like Big Agnes or REI, but it feels sturdier, and the fabric doesn’t feel fragile, so I’m fine with the weight.

Thanks for your thoughtful review! We’re glad the tent works well for you. Hope it continues to be a great part of your backpacking gear!

Great backpacking tent

I took this tent on a recent backpacking trip and was really impressed. It packs down super well and sets up easily, which is a must for quick getaways. The price point is excellent for the quality you're getting. It also held up really well during a rainstorm, no leaks! The best part was getting to stargaze through the mesh top – this pic shows it set up without the rainfly. So awesome!

Thanks for the great review! We're so glad you enjoyed the stargazing. Hope you continue to have great adventures with the tent!

One person and dog

This tent is perfect for solo backpacking trips, especially if you're traveling with a 50-pound dog! The packed size and weight are just right for me and my canoe trips. The pole set is solid, and I’ve stayed dry in the rain four times so far. I did swap out the pegs for longer ones since the stock ones were a bit too short to be useful, and I also changed the zipper pulls to cords, but overall it’s a great solo tent.

Thanks for the feedback! We're glad you and your dog are enjoying the tent. Hope it keeps serving you well on your adventures!

Great tent

Just finished a 6-day backpacking trip with this tent, and it held up like a champ! We had 20 mph winds and some rain, and this tent didn't flinch. It's solid for tough conditions, and I couldn't have asked for a better option for the price.

Thanks for sharing your experience! We're happy to hear the tent stood up well in tough conditions. Safe travels on your future hikes!

great value and quality!

I bought this tent to replace my heavy REI Half Dome for solo backpacking, and it’s been fantastic. I just did my first overnight trip, and even with mid-30s temps, winds up to 45 mph, and a little rain, this tent held strong. The sides cave in a bit, but it wasn’t an issue with the wind. One thing to note—unzipping the rain fly door can sometimes cause water to drip into the vestibule, but it’s a small price to pay. For the price and quality, I highly recommend it for solo campers under 6ft and couples who are okay with a cozy setup.

We’re so happy to hear the tent performed well in tough conditions! Thanks for the helpful review. Safe travels on your future trips!
