I think this is a great tool to have, especially if you are a solo hiker/backpacker like myself. It’s a bit bigger than I imagined, but it’s very lightweight and has everything you might need in an emergency. The whistle is pretty loud, the light is quite bright, the only thing I have yet to find out is the battery life on this and if it’s possible to change at all.
I am going to take it with me when I walk the dog.I will keep it in my purse when I go somewhere.
